THE TRANSPORTER REFUELED - Opens September 4

From the producers of LUCY and the TAKEN trilogy, comes THE TRANSPORTER REFUELED is a fresh personification of the iconic role of Frank Martin. This new take launches the high-octane franchise into the present-day and introduces it to the next generation of thrill-seekers.

Frank Martin (played by newcomer Ed Skrein), a former special-ops mercenary, thinks he's living a less dangerous life transporting classified packages for questionable people. When Frank’s father (Ray Stevenson) pays him a visit in the south of France, their father-son bonding weekend takes a turn for the worse when Frank is engaged by a cunning femme-fatale, Anna (Loan Chabanol), and her three seductive sidekicks to orchestrate the bank heist of the century. Frank must use his covert expertise and knowledge of fast cars, fast driving and fast women to outrun a sinister Russian kingpin, and worse than that, he is thrust into a dangerous game of chess with a team of gorgeous women out for revenge. New comedy adventure, celebrated travel writer, Bill Bryson (Academy Award® winner Robert Redford) challenges himself to hike the Appalachian Trail - 2,200 miles of America’s most unspoiled, spectacular and rugged countryside from Georgia to Maine - instead of retiring with his wife (Academy Award® winner Emma Thompson) and their happy family.

His plans to find peace and tranquility in nature soon fall short when he agrees to allow his his long-lost and former friend, Stephen Katz (Academy Award® nominee Nick Nolte) to join him. Katz a down-on-his-luck serial philanderer has spent a lifetime relying on his charm and wits to keep one step ahead of the law. Katz sees the trip as a way to sneak out of town and away from debt collectors grabbing one last adventure before it’s too late. The only problem is the two are as different as night and day, with completely different definitions of the word “adventure.” Now, they’re about to find out that when you push yourself to the edge, the real fun begins.
