Former co-star gives tribute to Sinatra

Singer Julie Budd winner of the Broadway World Award for Best Show“They Wrote The Songs” – will soon be releasing a new cd 'Remembering Mr. Sinatra'. Julie began her career at the age of only twelve when she was discovered by record producer / orchestrator Herb Bernstein. Herb Bernstein. Soon her talent captured the attention of Merv Griffin. After he heard her sing, she was soon invited to appear on more than 100 of Merv’s shows. Since then Julie has enjoyed a long lasting multi-faceted career from television to film, to the New York stage performing with symphonies all over the country. she has graced the stage with such legends as Frank Sinatra, Liberace and Carol Burnett .

Says Julie , “What a way to grow up and start in this business.” “These people were wonderful to me.” “Some kids went to school, but I went to work and learned from the best.” “Each one of these performers was a professor to me, and I was so lucky to have had the opportunity to know them all.”Her soon to be released cd titled 'Julie Budd Remembering… Mr. Sinatra' is her tribute . "How fortunate I was, at just 16 years old, to be personally invited by Frank Sinatra to appear with him at Caesar’s Palace, in Las Vegas. This was, and will always remain, a grand highlight in my life and career. " says Julie. "As I recorded these songs, it took me back to those wonderful evenings on stage, and a time that I’ll never forget."

Julie feels she has been passed the baton from Sinatra and this cd is her way of keeping the music alive. Some of the songs she has included on this complilation include on this CD include I’ve Got The World On A String, I’m a Fool To Want You , The Best Is Yet To Come, Come Rain Or Come Shine , All The Way, Don’t Get Around Much Anymore and many others.
